Featured Vendor On Best Of Wedding Photography //

About a month ago, we were selected to be a part of Best Of Wedding Photography's vendor list for Breckenridge and Vail!

The email we received states that vendors featured on this site are part of an "elite, invitation-only membership group recently launched by some of the world's leading wedding photographers."

"As we were searching for premier floral designers, it didn't take long to come across petal and bean as a leading vendor who is passionate about flowers. Everything we viewed was magnificent! We loved the bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony floral arrangements that we viewed on your Copper Mountain Wedding blog – elegant and gorgeous, and most importantly, unique!  We can certainly appreciate why you have been featured in Rocky Mountain Bride, Brides Colorado, and The Knot Colorado."

Thanks for the recommendation, Steve Tinetti (Denver-based Colorado Wedding Photographer )!

Amy + David: 06.26.2010 Ten Mile Station Wedding in Breckenridge, Colorado //

This bridal bouquet was made using Peonies and Roses.  Pics in this blog are courtesy of IN Photography, a wedding photography duo made up by husband and wife, Michele and Mark.  We always look forward to working with them, as they produce absolutely beautiful images that we love to share!

This mountain wedding in Breckenridge, was up on the ski resort's Ten Mile Station,  a short drive up a four wheel drive road near the Beaver Run Hotel and Conference Center.

These tall Pilsner vases are available for rent for this venue and others.  Please contact us to learn more.

We also can help out with Linen rentals and selection advice.  However, for Ten Mile Station, you must talk with the coordinator, but we can help with most other venues!

We see local Breckenridge Cake Maker Katy, of Sugar, all the time at Ten Mile Station, and other Breckenridge weddings.  Katy has even been known to help us out during busy times, like Valentine's Day, thanks Katy!

We LOVE this classic B & W photo!

The tent was stuff dreams are made of, as a classical group played the ceremony music.  Tall cylinder vases filled with Hydrangea were placed throughout the tent, as well as pink Peonies hung from the ceiling, while a soft pink glow from the lights filled the tent.

Aspens Changing Colors in Breckenridge, Colorado

Dina and I decided to hike a nearby trail in French Gulch, as the Aspens are already beginning to change. After a rainy July, and it actually HAS SNOWED in August in years past, but not this year. The high mountains have been blessed with a stretch of clear, warm, sunny weather.

This old machine was used in the mining days of Breckenridge, and actually came from New York, according to the stamp on its side.

Some fairly new trails in the Breckenridge area include the Minnie Mine, X10U8, and the B&B trail in French Gulch.

The highest peak in Summit County, Mt. Quandary, a 14er, and Mt. Helen are visible above brilliantly bright Aspen trees.

Dina leaving me in the dust, as I continue to take way too many pics.

Colorado Wildflower Bouquets, and are you on Facebook?

Okay, so we work in a flower shop, and then at the end of the day, guess what Dina wants to do? Play with more flowers. The self-professed "Flower Maven of Breckenridge" has an ongoing project of flowers and plants in our front yard.

We've decided to share the love, and want to create true, custom wildflower bouquets for a few select weddings. It really comes down to what's blooming at the time, and if it matches the wants and desires of our clients.

We get inquiries all the time, brides asking, "Can I get a wildflower bouquet?" And we explain that we can create a custom wildflower-themed bouquet. Yes, there are some wildflowers that are commercially available, but not all are.
That's where { Dina's Secret Garden } comes in. We hope to fill in with our own Columbine, Poppies, Lilies or other blooming beauties.
Please contact us to learn more how we can create a custom wedding floral arrangement for you to hold when exchanging vows with your best friend in the Rocky Mountains of Summit County.

Last but not least, is our first invitation for you to join us on our Facebook page. Click here to go to our Facebook page. I seem to share more random stuff on Facebook, which then goes to our Twitter account, which gets even more stuff shared from other folks in the wedding, design and mountain community.
