A Breckenridge Wedding at the Mountain Thunder Lodge, a Vail Resorts property, June 2010, Colorado

A local Breckenridge family celebrated with an intimate outside wedding ceremony at the Mountain Thunder Lodge. This bridal bouquet has Pink Peonies, Yellow Calla Lilies, Red Roses, Yellow Ranunculus, and Yellow Spray Roses as well. The handle was tied off in a sheer white ribbon.

Bridesmaid bouquets were all Yellow, with Roses, Ranunculus, and Freesia.

Cermony decor were simple, mixed flowers tied to a few chairs closest to the front.

The boys are ready to go and are hanging out in the lobby area, next to a fireplace and comfy couches if a place to sit is desired. The outdoor patio for the ceremony and main conference / meeting room are all centrally located near the check in / front desk staging area.

A very sunny outdoor patio holds the Chuppah that Dear ol' Dad spent some time and energy creating just for this moment in time. The poles were draped in fabric, but with the wind, we had to make a last minute adjustment and tie the flaps down a bit to quiet the material. Strong winds have definitely been a factor for outside ceremonies in Breckenridge.

Clean white and black linens made for a crisp contrast against the vibrant color of the table arrangments.

Katy, of Sugar, a local Breckenridge Cake Maker, is a favorite for choosing a Summit County wedding. She can do yummy cup cakes for you too! She's who I called when I needed a sweet treat for Dina's birthday. Kay is a longtime local and if you recognize her from somewhere, it's because she used to work at Clint's for a long time.

The Groom's Cake can be whatever you think he would enjoy. Mine was a chocolate mountain, with clear blue gel river and all, with various outdoor gear. What kind of activities, hobbies or interests can be incorporated into a cake?

The tables are set, pictures are being taken, and the DJ is ready to go! Contact local boy wonder, DC, and please be sure you ask him to spin you some hip hop because that's what he does best. A few months back, he even opened for Lyrics Born, who is vocally gifted to say the least.
