A Summer Wedding at Rubywood, a Paragon Lodging property.

Some brides choose private home rentals instead of the bigger venues, requiring less transportation and logistic issues, as the ceremony, reception, and lodging is taken care of.  Ask us how we can even help you group homes and / or nearby properties, to minimize travel between the ceremony and guest lodging.

This wedding had no bridal bouquet, as both arms and hands were occupied by the arms of a father and mother, leaving no need for a bridal bouquet.  We loved it.

You can see the Breckenridge Ski Resort from the west-facing deck.  This is where the ceremony takes place, using two different levels.  The wedding party usually stands on the lower deck, or on the edge of the higher deck, depending on party size.

To tent or not to tent?  Well, that depends on how comfortable your guests need to be.  If you have a hardy crew and can wait out thunderstorms to exchange vows, then you can skip the tent.  However, if you want to consider a tent, you can add clear flaps to not block light, and can even add a heater to keep guests warm.

Did we mention it can snow every month of the year in the high country?  It usually doesn't, but you never know about the mountains and the weather it can bring.  Ask us about tent rentals for the Breckenridge area and we can recommend the vendors, or can take care of it altogether, if need be.
Annie contacted us and we agreed upon a brilliant set of manzanita chandeliers with hanging crystals, LED votive candles and fresh flowers added.  We thought these turned out beautiful!

The junior flower mavens, Sandy and Katie making sure the rental lanterns have their LED votive candles activated, placed just right, and the flowers moist and where they need to be.

The bride walks down these steps next to a beautiful water feature and wildflower gardens.

The dj sets up his equipment, prepared to help create the mood for the afternoon and evening.

I'm still working on organizing the first ever Rocky Mountain Wedding Cake / Cupcake / Candy / Dessert Table Challenge...  Do you think whoopie pies should be in the contest?

A close up of one of the centerpieces placed on the tables.  Hydrangea, Stock, Roses, Dahlias and Dusty Miller were placed in steel grey containers and placed on tables both inside the house and outside under the tent.
The mantle was dressed with greens, candles, and flowers that matched those on the table.

A turntable and a laptop.  Nice!  This guy had speakers inside and out.  Well, that's about it for the pre-wedding set up photos.  We'll be posting the rest of this day on our new wedding blog for Summit County, Colorado called Summit Mountain Weddings!
